The Alpha Course

The Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed manner over ten thought provoking weekly sessions. It's low key, friendly and fun and there's no cost. It's supported by all the main Christian denominations. Over 2 million people in the UK and 11 million worldwide have already found it to be a worthwhile experience.

Alpha Courses 2011

An Alpha Course for this year will run at

15th September - Launch evening: Christianity - boring, untrue, irrelevant
29th September - Who is Jesus?
6th October - Why did Jesus die?
13th October - How can we have faith?
20th October - Why & how do I pray?
3rd November - Why & how should I read the Bible?
5th November - Awayday at the Blackley Centre -
Who is the Holy spirit?
What does the Holy spirit do?
How can I be filled with the Holy Spirit?
10th November - How does God guide us?
17th November - How can I resist evil?
24th November - Why & how should I tell others?
1st December - Does God heal today?
8th December - What about the Church?
