Alpha Course 2008
It has been confirmed that Pulse Gold radio presenters Colin and Our Yvonne from The Full Breakfast Show will feature at the Alpha Launch
on 29th September!
The Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed manner over ten thought provoking weekly sessions. It’s low key, friendly and fun and there’s no cost. It’s supported by all the main Christian denominations. Over 2 million people in the UK and 11 million worldwide have already found it to be a worthwhile experience.
The Huddersfield Alpha 2008 Launch will be held on Monday 29th September 2008 with a free buffet at the New Union Bar, off New Street in Huddersfield at 6:30pm for 7pm. This is the opportunity for ANYONE to come and get a taster of Alpha, then to sign up for the course if they wish. Food is available and there will be music and testimonies.
The course will run for 10 weeks, starting on Monday 6th October 2008. This is another inter-church initiative, shared between town-centre churches of all denominations.
